Be Spiritually Bold

Well, well, well, hello to you all! It has been a lovely time since we’ve last spoken, but it’s time to get to work! On the blog today, I am highlighting a powerful individual that I believe will truly bless you. Meet Mi’esha Reynolds of “Be Spiritually Bold.”

Mi’esha Reynolds is an International Professional School Counselor, Spiritual Coach and Blogger. She is paving the way for women in their spiritual walk.

Now honestly, how many of us could use a little push ESPECIALLY in today’s time? 👋👋👋

First of all, let me point out that in today’s climate, the world is on shaky foundation. What do I mean by shaky? I mean it’s walking on both sides in a lukewarm trend and as a result, things are not falling in line accordingly.

When I met Mi’esha socially, I loved the pop of colors with her logo and really everything she posted. What I did not realize is that she is loaded with wisdom to help those of us out there struggling in our walk. I mean, you know how you see someone and the work they are doing, it catches your eye for a second but you don’t dive into it?

At first I did that out of habit, but when I saw how serious she was in her walk, she had my attention. It’s so hard finding other women in a close age range really dedicated to their spiritual walk. To be quite frank, we need more individuals that are serious now than ever.

Mi’esha is CONSISTENT in what she provides, packs a powerful punch, and does not water down the word.

When you follow her, you definitely receive valuable tips and interactive products that will push you to that next level.

Secondly, when being taught on how to make God a priority & confidently pray bold prayers, Mi’esha includes
•Creative art activities

You can get in touch with Mi’esha 3 Ways!

If you would like to be apart of some of her current projects or even book her for your next live/virtual conference you can:

  • Receive Letters to God currently available on her website
  • Book her for speaking events, host workshops, serve on panel, podcast/webcast guest (virtual and in person)
  • Virtual Girl Talk event (Friday, April 10)

Like, comment and subscribe and show our sis you are committed! You can head over to her site and even get a 14 day guide!

To conclude things, I’m truly thankful for women like Mi’esha. It gives me hope and reminds me to keep going. If you are out there struggling, I hope her resources can be of some help to you. If you have any additional questions, be sure to contact her on any of the 3 contact methods and really build a relationship with her. The more we band together, the stronger we become.

If you know the word, you can finish this off…. Where 2 or 3 gather together! (Inserts shout)

Have a wonderful day loves!

Follow Your Dreams: If it’s the Last Thing You Do!

If you know anything about me, then you know I’m not your average, gungho traditional type of girl. I’m the girl that bends the rules while following them. The one that follows her own dreams while pushing you to follow your dreams. And to be very honest, I’m quite proud I don’t remain trapped in a four-wall institutionalized mindset.

Be Free, Be Happy, Be a Dreamer

Oftentimes when I would share my dreams, thoughts and goals, I would get feedback about how unorthodox it was. You know, I’m supposed to go get my Doctorate and work in my field. Then, hope that I am blessed to make six figures and live the American dream.

(Of course I wrote that with a touch of hyperbole, but it’s mainly true.)

But that was not in my heart.

Now, I’m not saying I’ll never go back to school and further my education and knowledge. But when I do, I’m going to be intentional with my decision and allow it to align with my God given talents. If I’m going to go into debt, I need to ensure I have a ROI to cash in.

My focus isn’t just on wealth anymore. It’s shifted to a generational mindset

Although I am approaching my 25th in less than a month, I have come to learn how trained the mind becomes at my age.

It is SO easy to internalize the exterior voices that say no to every dream and project their thoughts into your life. That is until you begin living for their words and not God’s word.

You then unknowingly begin to take the traits of what was spoken over you. Then SUDDENLY. You hit a point in your life when you realize “this is not what you wanted to do.”

After reality hits, you find yourself stuck in the same ole routine with no way out. Why? Because, you put your dreams so far back into an abyss, you started walking through the valley on your own strength.

I’m sure you know the song, “ain’t no mountain high enough, ain’t no valley low enough.” But if you think about it, it rings true ONLY if you stay the course.

You see, there is something that is within you that needs to be birthed. The problem is, the birthing that should be taking place lies within the vision of your dreams. If you don’t begin cancelling out the words spoken over you, you’ll hardly see anything come of what God has instilled in you.

The most common response I hear people say is “my family doesn’t believe in my dreams.” Baby, let me tell you something. We grow up through generations. Each generation has it’s own mechanism of surviving and success. Each one learned differently and were taught differently. But we are not in the business of revisiting the past tradition.

We reference and apply the tradition value taught where its needed but not in every single part of our life.

There IS an uncanny amount of wisdom in the older generation, BUT also a large amount of complacency within that tradition too.

It was taught to go to school, work until a certain age, retire at that age, live happily and that’s it.

That’s a long route to take.

For one you’re expendable working for someone else. Two, there is no guarantee life won’t throw a curveballs. Three, there is fear of uncertainty projected on the newer generation if there is no proven method to show success will come of it.

Now, please don’t get too technical and think I’m saying all tradition is bad. What I’m simply stating is if we remain in a traditional mindset, we only have part of the blueprint. It takes you, the determined one, to follow your dreams and finish it off.

There are MANY pros to learning the traditional ways too.

Without the generations before us, we probably wouldn’t have an ounce of knowledhe about true hard work ethic. But, like I stated earlier in the text, we take those values an apply it where its needed.

I’m a dreamer and I will always be one. My spirit roams free because I’m outside of the norm. I believe there is something inside of you that wants to follow your dreams. You just need that extra push.

So here is what I want you to do. (I’m included)

Write out whatever it is you seek to accomplish

It can be a boutique, a web designing business, invention or something else. Write it down

Next, make it plain what you need, down to the bottom dollar

Prioritize what is important to obtain your dream. Is it reasonable or unreasonable?

Then, begin to educate yourself either YouTube, school, etc around your craft

Then, for the fun of it….write out a check to yourself for whayever amount you hope to accomplish when you take your step.

Afterwards, pray on it. Pray intentionally. Listen closely and execute when the time is right. I’m trying to see generational families, estates, multiple streams birth out of this.

You can and will follow your dreams as long as I am here! I hope this touched you. I believe in you, but now it’s time for the work. Let’s get it!

Chin Up, It’s Going to Get Better

Hey ya’ll. It’s been in my heart to send another reminder of encouragement to you all. Every now and then, we could all use a “chin up” in our life and catch a glimpse of hope.

I promise not to hold you long with my words, but I pray that you take it in your heart.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV

After reading this verse, I had to take the time to truly understand what it meant to me. God’s power is made perfect in weakness?

How? Seriously how?

But, as I read it, I started to be reminded that each time I felt defeated and willing to go back to the easier route, Gods grace covered me. In my moments of weakness, I saw God operate to his full capability.

Now, I could have very well interpreted that completely opposite of you. You could’ve gotten some deeper, logical understanding and that is fine. The point here is, in the time you feel weak, God will always be by your side. A way will ALWAYS be made. And the lack you may be experiencing shall pass.

Time and time again, we all have moments where it just seems like we can’t move to the next step. Like you’re stuck in front of a door that refuses to open. (Your time of weakness). So, take a moment and think about a time now or in the past you were experiencing that moment.

Think real hard now

Now, let me ask you this. Although it seems like you’re stuck, did you go without during that time?

Did you skip a beat with your necessities? Or better yet, did your bills still get paid for? If you answered yes, then I want to let you know this. Yes, you may feel stuck, unmovable and disappointed, BUT there was a lesson in it. God’s grace STILL covered you.

My next question is, did you experience an unexpected moment? Something that you just needed to happen. (I.e. a connection, networked with someone important, partnership?) I can give you a list of things now that I couldn’t tell you then about all the amazing opportunities that presented itself to me in my lowest time, but do you know why that is?

Well, in our low times, we can’t audibly hear that “chin up” voice. Sometimes we can’t see the purpose in our pain..and sometimes we can’t even realize what is going on in front of us because we’re so distracted.

The point I am getting at jumps back to the scripture. In weakness, God’s power is made perfect. I have so many “unexpected” blessings that occurred in my weakness, it was unreal. I never went without. There was never a missed meal. Bills got paid. Oh, and I STILL blogged and took cute pictures in spite of what was in front of me.

The second part of this “chin up” encouragement is the last part of the scripture.

“Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

I want to challenge you to sit, think about your time or times of weakness. Write it down..ponder on every detail that occured. Ask yourself some of the questions I asked you. Then dissect the scripture for your own understanding.

Now that I am in a spot in my life where I can maturely comprehend a message, I joyfully boast about my weaknesses because God is ALWAYS showing up in that time. I recognize the power I have that I, once, did not realize resided within me.

Take hold of your power. Take back what is yours. Do NOT feel discouraged. Do NOT feel defeated. But please let that voice constantly remind you to “chin up” and press forward. You are worth moving forward and I’m rooting you on!

I love you and God loves you too!

Mid Day Inspiration

Hello my loves! Today’s post is a bit unorthodox, BUT it’s needed. I’m here to sprinkle a little Mid Day Inspiration to give you that extra push to keep going.

As you read, I want you to hear me good when I say, some days giving up is the EASIEST thing you can do. If you’re anything like me…(overthinker, creative, free spirit) then you replay lines over and over in your head. Lines like “I really want to give up.” “It would be so much easier if I just let it all go.” “What’s the point?”

But you know what, it’s not easier.

Do you want to know why it isn’t easier? Because, all the time, effort and tears invested in something you sought after to accomplish is not worth letting go.

You know, I always kept this negative subconscious thought process that if I distance myself and drop everything, cold turkey, maybe, just maybe things would get easier. Now, truthfully, I did all of those behaviors. I gave up. Let my blog go for MONTHS. Lost all confidence and I didn’t feel the need to keep going.

I had a quick reminder though that if I gave up, I gave up on all the connections made, all the networking, all the time studying to become a better blogger each and every day.

Deep down, I don’t want you to give up. I want to help you avoid the disappointment of trying to test out giving up so it doesn’t knock you down. Take this as a blueprint.

You can look at me as your virtual Accountability partner because I want to give you another reason to stay in the game. So here is your reminder.

Do NOT give up!

You are WORTHY!

You CANNOT give up!

If I have to give you a personal one on one call I will because, far too many individuals, millenials especially deal with the fight of giving up.

If you ever need a good read, download the bible app here. There are devotionals that can seriously speak directly to you and your situation.

I’m quick to say “I ain’t no saint” but I’m definitely on a steady path of greatness walking in my calling. I want to see you WIN. Hope you all enjoyed this Mid Day Inspiration!

Reality Check: 2018 Making Moves

Transitioning into my Transformation:

Hi my loves! I hope all has been well with you guys because I have a LOT to fill you in with. Prepare yourself…I might shock you or encourage you. To each his/her own.

First things first, I want to let you all know I’m not simply lolly gagging around. Although you have seen my posts with Kontrol Magazine and my personal brand spaced out, I am not twiddling my fingers. A lot has changed and I am absolutely adapting to with a change of perspective. Change isn’t always bad but, instead of using my extra time to relax, I’m planning out a schedule. Granted, time may never be on anyone’s side if the person continues the same habits but I’m all about 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽

Here are a few things I’ve changed throughout my routine:

  1. Began reciting affirmations
  2. Reading my bible to understand the “what” I am reading
  3. Separating my work planner from my personal planner
  4. Journaling

Now, you may look at that list and say “I do that everyday.” Well, I was not in the state of mind to push myself to the limit that I needed to. Honestly, I allowed myself to get by. As an individual who looks to encourage others, I couldn’t continue posing for Let’s Get Relle and show up one day and not the next.

My flaw of wanting everything to be perfect definitely plays a huge role and when it isn’t perfect….I shy away. So with this post, I finally got a little drive and looked at myself and said

Next, let’s get to the good stuff!

Reality Check: 2018 Making Moves

During my absence, I have:

  1. Started a new job
  2. Teamed up as a foodie blogger
  3. Became active in my church
  4. Getting prepared for an international trip
  5. Started planning a  surprise for you all that will soon be a gateway to help you and others
  6. Been slowly but surely learning how to monetize my brand
  7. Gotten my materials together to be a successful travel agent
  8. Realized way to gain multiple streams of income

When I give my all, NOTHING can stop me. It takes your own personal determination in order to overcome the lack of motivation. I have a vision and mission to make Let’s Get Relle an icon for many that stand out from the rest. With an ample amount of time to brainstorm what I truly want my brand to represent, God provided me with the answers.

I love you guys so much for STILL sticking with me, encouraging me as I encourage you and reading my blog. It literally means the world to me! There are a few more things planned that I can’t wait to post, but I will hold off from telling you all.

Reality Check: 2018 Making Moves! I’ll mark this day as my day of transition and when everything unfolds, you’ll understand the transformation. Keep pushing yourself to be great and remember this affirmation:
